False advertising. Our "No-Smoking" room reeked of smoke...it was suffocating. We had to remove the grimy bed quilts and place them in a far corner. We had to open the window and crank up the air conditioner all night long, just so we could somewhat breathe. The bathroom sink stopper was broken, so water backed up in the basin until we levered it with a Q-tip. Parking was great....if you were on a bicycle. The spaces were much too small to comfortably ease a mid-size car into.
I loved the price of the hotel, great stay!
Very bad parking and poor staff they are kind of grumpy
Grim. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the air conditioner smelled like piss and there was a leak from the toilet on the floor above us. Not worth the savings
I liked that it was close to Pasadena City College, that is where the event was that I was going to.
I did not like the false advertizing: stated that there was vending machines. There was one soda machine and it was out of order. No food. There was no ice in the hotel, it was outside and you had to pay for it. There was no place to sit and eat the continental breakfast, that was a very poor selection of food. Also, my room and bathroom was very dirty. A light bulb was missing from one of the lights. The parking, although was free, was very tight in the garage.
Location. Great centralized spot to all the Los Angeles area has to offer.
Insufficient and very cramped parking. Front desk staff was rude and unfriendly. Other hotel guests were out in halls smoking Marijuana. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Pay the extra money and stay elsehwere.
It was reasonably close to downtown and well connected via bus. The hotel was fairly clean, quiet, and reasonably inexpensive for the area.
The cost was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I guess that's Pasadena.
this is a small hotel located in pasadena a couple of blocks away from I-210. the room is big, clean and quiet at night.
Very good WiFi/WLAN access and speed in the room. Very quite surrounding. Large room.
Access to public transport limited.
Excellent value! My wife & I took a weekend trip to Pasadena to visit some museums and sepnt two nights at this motel. Room was large, came with a nice size fridge and small microwave and a flat-screen TV. Bed was comfortable. I asked for some extra pillows, and they were brought up in just a few minutes! Parking garage is right below the hotel, which makes it very convenient. Downtown Pasadena was only a few miles away on the same road. Only drawback is that the bathroom sink does not have a countertop on which to place toothbrush, shaving materials, etc.
Rooms are huge, with everything we needed (microvawe oven, coffee maker...). Didn't go for breakfast, so can't say anything about it. We chose the hotel mainly because of the location (we attended the wedding nearby), but if you want to visit LA as tourist, Pasadena is not where you'll be staying.
Everything was great, this hotel is great value for the money you pay
Free Wi Fi
the ice machine was all the way at the parking lot???
The only thing I liked was the location due to the Rose Parade.
It was dirty, noisy and the bed was hard. The pillow case smelled nasty and the walls are paper thin. It felt like I heard everybody in the hotel like a dorm room. I could not sleep well for many reasons. The bed was hard and I kept hearing door slams and people talking. For paying close to 200 dollars does not compare to most hotels I have stayed at.
Big room, lots of floor space for luggage. Microwave was very handy.
Never been offered cheese cracker sandwiches for breakfast before. Ended up at Denny's instead.
Ok property. We had asked for a room away from the elevator and ice machine. They did accommodate that request. However instead of the above we were next to boiler room/heater room? That kept going on and off all day/night. When we checked in we were told the rooms were sound proof. Not true. Could hear traffic noise and the boiler/heater next to our room. Overall was ok stay. Might not consider Roadway Inn properties in the future.
We had gone out for dinner after checking in. When we returned the tv was on but the bed had not been turned down. Not sure why someone would enter the room just to turn the tv on. My husband called the front desk but the person stated we needed to address with the manager the next morning. Never did talk with the manager.
